Our 5-Step Design Process
We have streamlined the chaotic fashion lifecycle into a proven, transparent workflow rooted in the heart of the Los Angeles Fashion District.
Phase 1: Discovery & Fashion Illustration
We start by defining your vision. Through collaborative sessions, we develop your mood boards, color stories, and initial concepts.
Fashion Illustration: Our artists create professional sketches to visualize the drape, texture, and attitude of your collection before production begins.
We analyze market trends to ensure your concept is competitive in the current US market.
Phase 2: Technical Drawing & 3D Visualization
A sketch is not a blueprint. We convert your creative ideas into industry-standard Tech Packs. These documents include measurements, bill of materials (BOM), and construction details—essentially the “instruction manual” for the factory.
3D Garment Design: We also offer CLO3D visualization, allowing you to see a photorealistic virtual sample of your garment. This helps us catch design errors instantly and reduces fabric waste.
Phase 3: Sourcing & Pattern Making
Leveraging our location in Los Angeles, we source premium fabrics and trims directly from trusted local and global suppliers.
Pattern Making: Simultaneously, our expert pattern makers draft the architectural cuts that ensure your garment fits perfectly. We handle everything from first patterns to final grading for US standard sizing.
Phase 4: Prototyping & Sampling
This is where the magic happens. We produce the first physical sample (muslin or prototype). We conduct fit sessions in our studio to refine the drape, comfort, and silhouette, making adjustments until it is perfect.
Phase 5: Pre-Production & Manufacturing
Once the sample is approved, we prepare you for manufacturing. We can oversee small-batch production locally in LA or guide you through large-scale overseas manufacturing, handling quality control (QC) to ensure the final product meets your standards.
